Tēvreize (Our Father)

Jerusalem is a sure favorite in a world's contest for geographical places with the maximal amount of the most significant sites (should such a contest be ever held). Just one of the hundreds of Jerusalem's gems is the Convent of Pater Noster on top of the Mount of Olives.

The courtyard is fit with hundreds of tiled inscriptions, all containing the text of the most universal Christian prayer. This Spring's good news for my fellow Latvians is that this prayer in Lativan (Tēvreize) is no longer obscured by a large bush, and can be viewed in full as one the first tiles near the convent's entrance.
